Senior Advisement

About Me

While applying to colleges and scholarships, you will need teachers, counselors, and community contacts to write recommendations for you. The counselors request that you complete an About Me form so they can write meaningful recommendation letters for you. As you complete the form, save a copy of it. You can give it to your teachers and others who are writing recommendations for you. You must be logged into your Fulton County student email to complete the form. Click here to access the form.

  • Due Date for About Me form - August 31st

  • Due Date for Requests for Letters of Recommendation - A minimum of 10 working business days  before the deadline for submission.

Common App and Coalition App

The Common App and Coalition for College are two different organizations that offer a standardized streamlined application process. Some colleges and universities participate in only one application. Others participate in both. Explore their websites and find out which platform features the colleges and universities you would like to apply to. Choose the one with the most schools you are interested in and complete the core part of that application over the summer. Work on both if it looks like you'll need to apply through both.

Explore Our College and Career Page

We've posted a lot of information on our College and Career page about college visits, college fairs, HOPE and more.  You will also find codes you may need to complete your college applications.
