Payback Challenge - The Payback Challenge is NGPF's annual scholarship contest that gives students a chance to win a $2500 Grand Prize for their educational pursuits while developing an understanding of what college life will be like. You have a chance to win either a $2500 Grand Prize or a $1000 Honorable Mention scholarship. This scholarship is open to all 9-12 graders!

Coca Cola Scholarship- The Coca Cola Scholarship is now open for 2023-2024 high school graduates. The deadline to submit is October 2, 2023. Click here for more information and to apply.

The Gates Scholarship-This scholarship was announced by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2017 and kicked off in 2018, intending to award 3,000 students scholarships over a period of ten years. The scholarship is aimed at supporting minority students who want to further their education. Application closes on 9/15/2023.

Scholarship Tips:

-Focus on one or two scholarship websites or apps to make the process more manageable.

-Remember that many colleges and universities offer merit-based scholarships during the application process. Merit scholarships may be given out automatically to students who meet a college/universities GPA and test score criteria or awarded through a formal application process.

-Look at local scholarships offered through civic organizations or local businesses.
